RUTLAND SURGERY FLU CAMPAIGN 2016/17

In Scotland the flu season usually begins as the weather gets colder, so get the vaccine as soon as you can. It is available from October through to the end of March. But remember, during the flu season it’s never too soon to get immunised.

 

The Flu vaccination is free of charge for people if you are:

 65 years or over

OR

Under 65 and in an eligible category such as:

Diabetes

Cardiovascular Disease

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Stroke, TIA, Asthma

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

Chronic liver disease

Immunosuppressed

Pregnant

Carer

Obesity (BMI over 40)

Saturday 1st October 2016    9.00 am until 1.00 pm

Monday 10th October 2016    3.30 pm until 5.30 pm

 

Please telephone the practice and make an appointment.

 

 

Anyone under 18 years and eligible for a flu vaccination should NOT attend these clinics. Please contact reception and arrange an appropriate appointment date and time.
